5 Tips for Vegan Food Vendors

Being a vegan food vendor is very fun but at the same time it takes a lot of hard
work and dedication. It’s very important to plan ahead, probably a month in
advance. Lol, no seriously you want to make sure you are prepared for each vegan
pop-up/non vegan pop-up you do!
Tip 1 - Know Your Products
Be knowledgeable about the products you are selling so you will be able to answer any questions your customers may have. Meaning have knowledge of every ingredient you use in your products. You may have customers with certain allergies or they just may be interested in what certain ingredients you use, so this is very important.
Tip 2 - Make Customer Payments Easy
Have numerous forms of payment options readily available for your customers because not everyone uses the same one, you want to assure you are making everything easy and simple for you customer.
Tip 3 - Time Management
Always arrive a lot early so you will have time to set up and get everything situated at your vegan food pop up. Anything can come up such as your card reader randomly stop working before your vegan food event or the legs on your table giving out. In this instance if this does happen and you have arrived super early for your vegan pop-up, this allows you to figure out some other options on how these issues can be fixed. We always recommend to have a backup up plan that way your event will run smoothly regardless.
Tip 4 - Have a Positive Attitude
Another tip would be to have fun and a vibrate positive energy because first
impressions are everlasting. You want to always make sure you are setting a great
example for your business as a whole. And, remember to separate business from
personal meaning if you are having a bad day or something outside of your
business has caused you to be a little moody, do not allow this to interfere with
your work. Your customers will be able to notice if you are moody and that may
leave an everlasting impression on not only you but your business as well.
Tip 5 - Be Yourself
Our final tip, is to always be kind, patient, and most importantly, be yourself. You never know what someone else may be going through so always treat others with kindness and respect. At the end of the day we are all human, if you see your customer or someone you are working with is having a bad day empathize and show you care. That can go a long way. We should want to be a light to someone else and use our business to service to others.
Lastly, remember every day is not going to be a good day so don’t get frustrated if LIFE happens, just pick yourself back up again and keep pushing forward. If you are surrounded by amazing individuals such as the ones at Vendorzs, this can make your vegan food vendor experience so much smoother. They assure you have everything you need and are always there if you need them. Remember Earthlings, success does not happen overnight. Continue pursuing your goals and make your dreams come to reality. Keep putting in that hard work and dedication. It’ll be worth it in the end.
Peace & Love,
